How to Turn Off Your Prepaid Meter’s Beeping Sound

General Method of Stopping Prepaid Meter Alarm
This is one of the methods that you can use to turn off beeping sound on your prepaid meter. This method is ideal if the beeping sound is triggered by low battery, low credit unit, tampering, etc. If you notice that your prepaid meter beeping sound is caused by any of these factors, then you should do this:
- Change your prepaid meter battery with a new one if you notice that your meter battery is weak
- Top-up your prepaid meter credit unit if you find out that your credit unit is low
- If you find out that there is unauthorized access to your meter, clear it using a tamper code to stop beeping sound.
These methods are effective because when your prepaid meter battery is low, it triggers a beeping sound; when your credit unit is about to reach zero, your prepaid meter will alert you through an alarm; and when there is unauthorized access to the prepaid meter, the meter will also beep as a security measure to protect itself.
