BPDB Prepaid Meter Codes: Functional Codes

BPDB, Bangladesh Power Development Board, is the board that is in charge of electricity in Bangladesh. The board is in charge of giving out prepaid meters to electricity consumers in Bangladesh. BPDB prepaid meter codes are the unique and specific codes that are used to operate the BPDB prepaid meter.

There are different BPDB prepaid meter codes that are used to perform certain functions on the BPDB prepaid meter, depending on the meter brand that you are using. BPDB has different meter brands like Hexing, Linyang, Inhemeter, and Eastern that they give to their numerous customers. Each of these meter brands has its code.

To this end, you can’t use the same code to check the meter number for the Hexing meter brand and Inhemeter because their codes vary. If you are under the Bangladesh Power Development Board and know these codes, you won’t find it difficult operating your prepaid meter since each code encodes a particular function in the prepaid meter.

BPDB Prepaid Meter Codes 

There are many BPDB prepaid meter codes since BPDB gives out many meter brands to their customers. Each of the meter brands that BPDB gives to their customers has its own code. So, it makes sense for you to know your meter brand to enable you to choose the code that is suitable for it. We are going to summarize BPDB prepaid meter codes in the table below, attaching the meter brands’ codes and their corresponding functions.

BPDB Prepaid Inhemeter Codes 

Apart from the three popular BPDB prepaid meter brands, Hexing, Eastern, and Linynag, whose codes we listed in the table above, BPDB also has another popular meter brand, which is Inhemeter. However, the BPDB Prepaid Inhemeter has different codes for their single- and three-phase meter types. This simply means that you can’t use the same code that you used to operate the single-phase Inhemeter to operate the three-phase type. Without further ado, the BPDB prepaid inhemeter is summarized below with the codes for each phase attached along with their functions.

BPDB prepaid meter emergency balance code

For BPDB Hexing and Linyang prepaid meter brands, the codes that you can use to borrow units from them are 811/810 and 809, respectively. If you want to borrow electricity units on your BPDB, you can use the code that is suitable for your meter brand. 

Meanwhile, if you are using Inhemeter, the code that you can use to request emergency credits is 89898686. This code is suitable for both single- and three-phase Inhemeter. 

BPDB prepaid meter Meter Number Code

The codes that you can use to check the BPDB Hexing, Linyang, and Eastern prepaid meter numbers are 804, 100, and 011, respectively. However, for Inhemeter, the codes are 30 and C10 for single- and three-phase types, respectively. 

BPDB prepaid meter Balance Code

If you want to check your BPDB meter balance for Hexing, Linyang, and Eastern, the codes that you can use to do that are 801, 019, and 010, respectively. For Inhemeter, the codes are 00 and C501 for the single- and three-phase meter types.
